UBERMORGEN.COM is a duet of Swiss, Austrian and North American artists founded in 1995 and formatted by Lizvlx and Hans Bernhard. They are European artists, pioneers of net.art and online shareholders. Tenaciously convert code, language, concept and aesthetics into digital objects, programming art, text, net.art, large-scale installation, post-Internet painting, videos, binary press releases and online actions. They have shown, spoken and published to the main institutions of the world and have created digital commissions for both the Serpentine and the Whitney.

UBERMORGEN’s research-based practice is driven by the desire to satisfy its own curiosity, without the limitations of having a defined political agenda or preconceived beliefs. The six open investigations focus on the concept of corporate and governmental authority, power structures and institutional and individual responsibility. The material they obtain and show is ultimately used to infiltrate or hack the network and communication systems; Finally, every press release is converted into a ‘Media-Hack’, an opportunity to bring a controversial topic to the fore.
