Opening of “Atmosferes Futures”
Exhibition at the Museu Apel·les Fenosa in El Vendrell, with special recognition of NEWART Foundation for lending Lugan’s thermal hand. The exhibition creates a dialogue between classic works by Apel·les Fenosa and contemporary artists, including a work by Marina Núñez, three of whose other works are also held by the Foundation. April–October 2024.

Randa Art|Science Residency
Ars Electronica x Institut Ramon Llull x Hac Te x NEWART Foundation
The Randa Art|Science residency enables artistic research through scientific expertise. Its partners invite an artist or collective from Catalonia to develop a new work in collaboration with the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology.
The aim is to support projects that reflect on society’s digital transformation and its impact, culminating in a presentation at the Ars Electronica Festival.
The first Randa residency was awarded to artist Andy Gracie for Massive Binaries.

NEWART Foundation at Ars Electronica 2024
Albert Barqué-Duran and Marc Marzenit, Vestibular_1
NEWART Foundation was invited by Ars Electronica to present one of its most emblematic works, Vestibular_1 by Albert Barqué-Duran and Marc Marzenit, in collaboration with Institut Ramon Llull.
Ars Electronica is one of the major annual events in technological art, bringing together more than 100,000 professionals from around the world in Linz.
Massive Binaries by Andy Gracie was also presented at Sónar+D as the outcome of the first Randa Art Science residency, developed between Linz and the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology.

Madrid’s Círculo de Bellas Artes opens its 2024–2025 exhibition season with HiperObjetos, a group exhibition combining science, art and technology through leading artists in New Media, Generative Art and Computational Art.
Organised with NEWART Foundation in collaboration with Caixa Enginyers, the exhibition can be visited until 17 November in the Círculo de Bellas Artes’ Sala Picasso.

Digital Gems from the NEWART Collection. Part Two
