About the artwork
Post-window connects writing, sound and algorithmic sentiment analysis. The device turns typing into an exploration of timbre and soundscapes while questioning the biases of systems that claim to interpret our emotions. The work emerged from a Hangar research and production programme with NEWART Foundation and the BEEP collection. Acknowledgements: Andrés Costa and Matics Barcelona.

Career and projects
Since 2004, TOPLAP has brought together an international community exploring live coding. Lina Bautista and Iván Paz started the Barcelona community in 2018. Bautista combines composition, synthesisers and electronic devices through a DIY approach; Paz investigates algorithmic music and critical approaches to technology. In live coding, software generating sound or images is written and modified in real time while its code is projected, making the creative process visible and opening a social and political dimension to programming.
