The NEWART Centre received this past Wednesday, March 25, the institutional visit of several representatives of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the City Council of Reus, in a day focused on knowing the project and exploring possible ways of collaboration.
Participating were the Minister of Culture, Sònia Hernández; the general director of Innovation and Digital Culture, Marisol López, the director of Cultural Heritage, Joaquim Borràs Gómez; the territorial director of Culture in Tarragona, Ricard Ibarra; the mayor of Reus, Sandra Guaita; and the Councilor for Culture, Daniel Recasens.
During the visit, the institutional representatives visited the facilities and were able to learn first-hand about the collection and production and conservation processes of the center. The meeting also served to open a space for dialogue aimed at identifying possible lines of support and institutional collaboration, adapted to the needs and uniqueness of the project.
