The NEWART Centre has begun a new stage in its activity with the opening, for the first time, of visits by secondary school students. This initiative is part of the will of the centre to promote the link between art, science and technology among the youngest and bring them closer to the new forms of contemporary creation.
The first school visit was attended by the Narcís Oller de Valls Institute, with four groups of 1st ESO. During the day, students were able to discover the technological art collection of the center and live an immersive experience based on creativity and innovation.
Through educational guided tours, students explored the exhibited works and learned about the creative and technological processes behind each piece. A highlight was access to spaces usually restricted in other museums, such as storage and production areas, allowing them to understand how technological artworks are developed and conserved.
