The foundationNEWART Foundationwas founded in Reus in 2013,with the aim of promoting new technological practices within the artistic community. All in all, with the collection that they had been accumulating for 10 years, as a great flag. Since then, and until today,has become an active agent in the development and dissemination of technological art, placing Reus as one of the major European capitals of this discipline.
In the spring of 2025,NEWART Centre is due to open, its own technological art centre with anInvestment of 2 million eurosand that will beworld referenceIt will be located on the road that connects Reus with Constantí, ina 3,000-square-metre industrial building. This will allow them to displayLarger works than at present.
In fact, in the words of its manager, Montse Grau, “this centre aims to become a beacon for technological art in southern Europe". That's why it will be aVisitable warehouseopen to the public, butwill also have a workshopfor the preservation of works of art.
The NEWART Centre, unique in the world
