projections and digital applications.
The artist’s main working material is code, which consists of translating a concept into a formal written structure that can then be used to create a “machine” that generates multimedia streams in real time. Since the concept is fluid, as opposed to the formality of the written code that requires precise design, the translation process between machines is possible for the artist to see as a convert. The process is repeated until LIA is satisfied with the machine’s interpretation; moment in which the generative framework, in which the work of art can be developed, is considered finished.
LIA’s works combine the traditions of drawing and painting with the aesthetics of digital images and algorithms, characterized by a minimalist quality and by an affinity with conceptual art.
It focuses on the translation of Certs principle experiments in abstract forms, movements and colors in order to allow the viewer to explore them at a subconscious level.

small caixes als vessants, la mare is an abstract urban landscape animated by a design and development program proper to LIA. During the 25 years of its artistic career, LIA’s work process has typically involved both intuition and engineering skills, and this is not an exception. The careful selection of angles, transparency and weights of the artist’s line, together with the deliberate retention of accidents and errors, appears and disappears a practically infinite sequence of house shapes, lliscant unes sobre los tres en rhythmes hypnotics while they walked slowly. Avall of the screen.
Inspirant-se in the song “Little Boxes” by Malvina Reynolds, petites caixes als vessants, la mare is a contemplation of cases and cities. The cyclical relationship between the construction of habitats, the lands and environments they have replaced, and the
ecosystems that they ultimately replaced is achieved through an infinite production of geometric compositions.
