Weidi Zhang is an artist and researcher from our world in LA. Les seves current pàctiques d’investigació i art dels mitjans investigate A Speculative Assemblage: interactive visualization based on data images of a human-machine reality in the context of the visualization of data, the design of sensitive intelligence systems and immersius mitjans. The six works are shown at international venues, such as the SIGGRAPH Art Gallery Best In Show, ISEA, Times Art Museum (CN), Japan Media Arts Festival, Lumen Prize (UK), SIGGRAPH ASIA, IEEE VISAP, Planetarium 1 (RUS), Zeiss-Planetarium (GE), Society for Arts and Technology (CAN) and others. Currently, she is a doctor. Candidate for the Arts and Technology Program of the Communication Institutes and graduate researcher at the Experimental Visualization Laboratory. He gives lectures at UC Santa Barbara and the Ohio State University. He received his MFA in Art + Technology from the California Institute of Arts and a BFA in Photography/Media from the University of Washington, Seattle.
