toplap is a global community that since 2004 has brought together people who explore live coding with creative techniques.
L’any 2018 Lina Bautista and Iván Paz are going to start toplap-barcelona, which is a community of free experiments on writing fonts for the generation of their visuals. post-window originates in this context with a collaboration between its authors.
Trained with a classical composer, Lina Bautista AKA Linalab, she will follow her path through modular synthesizers and electronic devices embodied in the philosophy of DIY. His work explores soundscapes ranging from analogue to digital, including live coding with creative practice.
Looking at the lenses of mathematics and so on, Iván Paz explores the possibilities of algorithmic music without the creative technique of programming on Marx. His work stands out in critical approaches to technology and construction from scratch with a guide to conceive and develop the various fish.
To toplap live coding is a form of scenic art and a creativity technique focused on real-time writing of the code and the use of interactive programming, it is a new direction in electronic music, it is improvisant and formalitzant in public. The live encoders expose and modify in real time the program generating music and/or images, while the manipulation of the code is projected to allow the visualization process. Live coding works in all musical genres, and the elements that compose it – art, science and technology – also configure a social and political discourse.

Post-window” reflects on the semantic, semiotic and affective points that connect our imaginary languages, sounds and writings. It is conceived as a high-level device for live sound coding that visualizes the algorithmic analysis of sentiment.
