On 28 September, NEWART Centre took part in Apropa Cultura’s Autumn-Winter 2026 Cultural Activities Fair, held at Teatre Tarragona.
The event brought together cultural venues and social organisations from the region to present the available cultural programme and facilitate direct contact between programming teams and organisations working with different groups.
NEWART Centre participated for the first time as a venue affiliated with Apropa Cultura, presenting its activities in digital art, mediation and education.
The fair was organised into several rounds of short meetings, allowing direct conversations with participating organisations, explanations of the centre’s activities and a better understanding of their needs and interests.
The meeting also included theatres, museums, festivals and other cultural venues from the Tarragona region, creating a space to share experiences and build new connections between the cultural and social sectors.
Participation in this initiative is part of NEWART Centre’s commitment to continue improving cultural accessibility and broaden access to digital art for diverse audiences.
Apropa Cultura connects cultural venues with social organisations to facilitate cultural participation for people in vulnerable situations or facing barriers to accessing culture.
